Why should I attend?

Because of stories like Assiya Yawa, a villager from Sara Akpindja, Togo.

“We dig to be able to get water, and for that we need to wake up very early, at around 1am. It also takes up a lot of time. Because water comes out very slowly and there are so many of us, waiting to look for that dirty water. We, including our children, get back home very late, causing our children to be late for school. Most of the time they even sleep in the classroom because they do not get enough time to sleep at night.

“All these realities have changed for us since the GAiN water well was provided,” Assiya said. ”I was a Christian but I left the church. So with this new church, I started attending again and I am learning a lot… God is doing so many great things in my life and in the village. This well and church is a blessing.”

It’s stories like Assiya’s that make us excited about our renewed vision of eradicating water poverty and restoring human flourishing through the power of the gospel.
