Live Webinar
Thursday, April 28th • 10:00 am PST / 1:00 pm EST
Norm Poehlke -
Lead Pastor at Mountain Park Community Church, Abbotsford, BC
Lyndon Dojohn is passionate about local churches and the role they play in their own communities. “I have a passion to see Canadian churches fulfill the Great Commission by making a difference to people around the globe who have never heard the Gospel. No matter how large or small, I believe each church can make a difference.“
Lyndon was born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta, where he trained for pastoral ministry. From there, he went on to be the lead pastor at Lakeview Heights Baptist Church in West Kelowna, BC for 23 years, helping them to see their role in making a local and global difference. He has had the privilege of visiting churches around the world that desire to be one with churches in Canada, partnering in the Gospel together.
Today Lyndon serves as the Church Partnership Director with Global Aid Network (GAiN).
After ten years of church planting in Calgary, and another ten years leading International Missions and Church Planting in a denomination, Norm has returned to his first love, the local church. The experiences God has given him along the way have changed the way he thinks about the church, and God’s Kingdom. Norm Poehlke is the Lead Pastor at Mountain Park Community Church in Abbotsford, BC.
"It has been my observation that we are all seeking answers to the challenge of leading our churches on mission, and that our answers are framed by the questions we ask. But what if we are not asking the best questions? I hope that together we can ask some good questions of one another, questions that stretch our thinking, and perhaps lead us to new ways of thinking about missions."
This webinar is to serve church leaders across Canada. While you do not need to be a lead pastor, it would be ideal if you were a church leader in some capacity with your church.
